There are a couple different ghosts who are said to haunt this hotel. The first is Adda (also known as Eva or Ava), a teenager who has been spotted in the lobby and main entrance with teary eyes. She was said to have been killed by a runaway carriage and her ghost is known to walk up to guests and before disappearing, she says "Pardon me, I am... very lost." Her apparition has fair skin, brown eyes and brown hair that is pulled back. She dresses in black, flowy clothing and carries a clutch that she sometimes drops. Some witnesses say she also smells like lilacs or roses. There is also a ghostly couple from the 1920s who haunt the building. The middle-aged couple has been spotted wandering the grounds and hallways, mostly on the third and fourth floors. A ghostly man, around the age of 20, has also been seen and is said to have long hair and wear bellbottom pants. His ghost is known to play tricks on the guests and cleaning staff and may run out into the street, even being caught on security's video surveillance. And beware - because his ghost may also peek inside your guest room from outside!

There are MANY spirits here!!! I know this as FACT!!!

When I visited La Pavilion Hotel for a romantic getaway, right when I walked in the building, there were so many people looking at me as though I didn't belong. The thing was they were all in dresses from the early part of the century like 1800 1700s even I'm not even sure. A thing about me, I am a native of Mamou, Louisiana and I was cursed with the gift of sight. I know people don't believe in things like that, however since I was nine years old, I've seen and felt and dreamed about these no child should ever see. So I can put it on my life, this is an honest experience. When I walked in the hotel, it was so beautiful. I was in awe!! not just for the grand tour of the hotel, but it's like I was in a different place at a different time. There were people staring at me, with their noses down, as I am of mixed heritage, I have a weird skin tone. I suppose to them I was intruding on their space. No one really bothered you. They just watched, and whispered among themselves. There was only one, that was sort of eerie feeling. I was supposed to go to the rooftop pool, but for some reason when I got out of my room and turned right down the hall, I just felt something said to not go closer. I'm stubborn though, so I walked a little further. It was cold, it was dark, and this was around maybe noonish cause I had driven from Houston when I got off work at seven in the morning. That was the only one that got from. If you get the opportunity, and you're open to it spend the night or the week. For some people it may be hard to do, especially if your word was termed a "sensitive" like me. I thoroughly enjoyed the experience. I can't wait to return. Maybe I'll visit my new friends. ??

Ava and The couple

I actually had Ava come to me in a dream I had no idea about the haunting at the hotel before the night after the dream when we were stopped by a couple asking if we witnessed anything on the 9th floor. In the dream me and my fiancée were sitting on the bed talking and I saw and heard someone opening the door and this girl walked in probably 17 maybe 18 looking and just sit on the ottoman near the door. She never said anything just looked at me, smiled and after a little while got up and left. Then my fiancée woke me up mmby jumping on the bed and I was thoroughly confused because we were just talking lol. Then the couple I just happened to see them in the lobby, then they got on the elevator that happened to open when we got there but never moved before we got in. So they essentially got in the elevator and disappeared lol.
