Shreveport Municipal Memorial Auditorium
Shreveport, LA 71101
This auditorium is known for its musical program, the Louisiana Hayride, which Elvis Presley performed on in 1954. Other great artists who have performed here include Johnny Cash, Johnny Horton and Hank Williams, and it is believed to be haunted by a young man who sits in the seats. Some say he is the ghost of a boxer who died in a car accident on the way to his first match. Another spirit appears just as a face, looking through the windows in the doors that lead to the floor seats. Doors have been known to open and close on their own, and a tour guide once reported an unseen force grabbing her by the hand, and placing it safely on the banister as she was using the stairs. Not believing she needed the aid of the banister, she removed her hand, and she was picked up and placed at the end of the steps. Some stories say Elvis appears here as well, on the stage, along with an unknown blonde lady who resides backstage.

Reviews
My cousin had her wedding reception here and after the first dance I happened to look up and saw the ghost of a man sitting in the top row.... we've also caught a few EVPs in here as well!
