Louisiana's Old State Capitol in Baton Rouge boasts beautiful architecture and now is home to a museum that hosts special events and weddings. The Capitol building is believed to be haunted by Pierre Couvillion, a congressman during the mid 1800s. Legend says that Couvillion died due to natural causes while in the capitol building and he still hangs around. Witnesses have reported motion detectors going off when there’s no one around and mysterious footprints on the senate floor. The most haunted location in the building is the basement, which was once used as a hospital and a prison for soldiers.
