Bienvenue House Bed and Breakfast
421 N. Main St.
Saint Martinville, LA 70582
Saint Martinville, LA 70582
This inn dates back to 1830 and was the site of a murder of the former innkeeper, Isabel Robertson, and her daughter Belle. Many say at least one of the two haunt the place. Stories say Belle's bell, which she used to call for help, can be heard ringing from her bedroom. Objects are also known to move on their own, and lights turn on and off by themselves. The most haunted room in the inn is said to be The Evangeline Room.
